Nick Jankel is a pioneer in innovation and leadership. By the age of 25 he had set up a global strategy and innovation consultancy which helped launch Xbox; he built a multi-million pound company and advised No.10 Downing Street on innovation before he was 30. At 31 he walked away from it all to set about making the world a better place through innovation. He is the founder and president of WECREATE and now he tackles our quiz.
Which design object has made a difference to your life? Aside from my iPad, iPod, Macbook etc, I’d say my orthotics; they have massively reduced the pain in my back when I run!
Which is more important: education or experience? Ideally they are the same thing.
How would your describe your way of looking at the world? A designer of disruptive innovations for collective flourishing.
Who would you like to design something for? The Department of Education.
What’s next? A peer learning environment to teach marginalized people the vital soft skills of the 21st century.
